Access for people with disabilities should be a basic right; yet, all too often, mobility impaired individuals face impossible barriers to full access. Whether it is a lack of ramps or poorly designed entrances, the reality is that many places remain off limits or difficult to navigate. This problem is both deeply concerning and unacceptable as mobility impaired individuals are denied basic rights because of negligence or lack of consideration. It is time to recognize this injustice in order to take action and bring about real change.
